French Diploma of engineering

   
The duration of the studies is two years, that means 4 semesters, three academic and one internship. The syllabus of the courses is the same as the one of the forth and fifth year of the Ecole des Mines. You must be graduated with a bachelor or at least have four years of higher education courses in a university. The tuition fees are of 1.000 Euros per year.

 
 
You may obtain either the diploma of "Ingénieur Civil des Mines", or a more pratical diploma, "Ingenieur des Techniques de l'Industrie" (new training).

  

Diploma "Ingénieur Civil des Mines"

French diploma of Enginering, at the level of a Master of Science, 5 years after the end of the secondary school. Two years of preparation at studying with a high level of theoretical Math and Physics and a national ranking examination with a high rate of selection (800/10000).

Fifth year after "A level ... a year à la carte

Different possibilities

  • a standard year

  • a year in a French engineering school

  • a DEA, post graduate degree approved by the school's jury

  • a year in a foreign university, pursuing two diplomas simultaneously
  • an academic semester in a foreign university followed by an internship in a company, either in France or abroad
  • an internship in a company during the first semester followed by an academic semester abroad
  • an extended intership of one year followed by an academic semester.

Half academic studies (in a year):

  • one academic semester

  • on pratical internship
